On the road again...
After working for 1,5 months we're ready to get out on the road again. It's been a wonderful stay at Pete's Fish Farm, but the wind of change are blowing strong. Tomorrow we'll start the 2100km drive towards Queensland, so today we're stacking up on tin cans and checking the oil and coolant level in the car. We're ready for the sun to warm our body, mind and spirit once again.
Tomorrow is also our niece, Mina's, birthday! Happy birthday my angel!!! We love you very much and we wish you all the best forever:)

Busy picking vegetables
It's been a long time since last time I blogged, but it's actually good news; when we got back to the farm after I last wrote we had got a job picking vegetables! We have been working six days a week since then and are so tiered on our day off that we haven't had enough energy to go to the city to check the Internet. This will be the last week working six days, and we'll finally have both Saturday and Sunday off:)
Life is still good, and we have lots of fun with our friends. We are so lucky to be with such good and fun loving people!
Live life and love it :)

Back at Pete's Fish Farm
We're back at the fish farm, with many of the same people that were
there last time. It was so natural to be back that it was almost a little
weird. When we drove to the farm it felt like we had just been out shopping for
a little while or something.
We haven't heard anything about any work yet, but we have been to several farms and left our name and number so if there's work they'll call. Now all we have to do is believe that we'll get the right job at the right time, trust that the Universe always provides for us and surrender all our concerns to the Universe and just wait, with open arms to receive the gifts the Universe has in store for us. With believing, trusting and surrendering everything will always work itself out.
Live life and love it!

Nothing ever stays the same...
Things always changes.
Nothing can ever stay the same way. It's impossible for energy to not change.
It's in the nature of all that is, all that ever was and all that will ever be.
We grow, we get new ideas and what before seemed good suddenly looses its appeal.
As we have said from the moment we decided to travel; we have no plans, we'll
make it up as we go along. And again the Universe has turned our plans around;
we decided to go back east! We were looking for work in Donnybrook and we
suddenly got the idea to go back to Pete's fish farm in Penola, South
Australia. The idea felt good and we jumped in the car and started to drive
back east. It doesn't make sense and it's not logical. It's just a feeling and
the feeling is REALLY good:) We started driving back on Feb 21st, and yesterday
we arrived in Mount Gambier again. We tried to call Pete, but nobody answered,
so we'll just have to wait and see later today to see what will happen. All we
know is that we want to work here for a month or so to get money to travel back
to the east coast:)
We haven't posted any pictures from our adventure in Western Australia so here's a little taste of the last month:

South-West of Western Australia
Since last time I wrote we have been traveling further west. We first stoped in Denmark (yes, we are still in Australia) where we camped at Parry Beach for almost a week. We took day-trips to Green's Pool and Waterfal Beach. Wonderful places!
After that we traveled to the west coast where we have been traveling around the last weeks. We've been to Fremantle, a wonderful place outside of Perth with lots of alternative vibes (which we really like). We went to a concert there with a band called Oka. We had never heard of them before but some guys at a didgeridoo-shop told us they were good so we thought we would check them out. I'm so glad we did, cuz that was the most AMAZING night of my life!!! It was outside behind a hotel and everyone that was there was dancing right from their hearts! It was an experience of hearts uniting through music! We bought three cd's right after and we have been listening to them since then. Thank you, Didgeridoo-guys:)
We have also been to Bunbury, Busselton and Margaret River. We're enjoying life and each other!
Right now we're sitting at a cafe in Busselton looking for jobs... We might go to Donnybrook, where there's suppose to be alot of fruit picking jobs. The Universe has helped us so far, and we know it always will.

Long time, no Internet
It’s been a
long time now, and I almost don’t know where to begin… We have traveled about
3000km since we left Pete’s Fish Farm, and we’re now in Albany, Western
Australia. After we left Penola and the fish farm we traveled through Adelaide
and spent the night at an over-night rest area before we went to Port Augusta.
We stayed there for a night, because that would be the last place before the
great outback we could buy new tiers for our car. JT have been stressing about
our tiers since we bought the car, and when we got the cherry picking job he
said that he would buy new tiers as soon as he got paid. We didn’t earn that much,
I guess we just got enough to pay for our stay at the fish farm, but when Pete
commented our worn down tiers when we were about to leave we knew that the time
had come. We got new tiers and started the very long drive towards Western
Australia. When we got to the other side of the border we drove 145,6km on
Australia’s longest straight road. The scenery looked completely the same all
the way that it was impossible to know where we were (there was signs to let us
know that we were going in the right direction, fortunately).
PS. It's impossible to capture the beauty of the beach, but you get the idea...
We got to
Albany yesterday, after spending five nights in the most beautiful place I have
ever seen. JT read about it in one of our travel books, and I’m so happy that
we went there. Cape Le Grand National Park is absolutely a place to visit if
you’re ever in the area (or even if you’re not in the area, it’s worth getting
to the area to visit it)! The beaches were AMAZING! The sand was whiter that
white and the water was so clear that you could be tempted to drink it and the color
were so vibrant blue that it took my breath away. If it weren’t for the lack of
drinking water I think we would still be there now. But the traveling continues…
it always does….
Today we have
washed our car (something we should have done a long time ago) and tomorrow we’re
going to a guy called Steve to repair a small crack in our windscreen. After
that we’ll follow the coast further west to a national park somewhere where we
can relax and enjoy life.
Because we
haven’t been online in a while I would like to congratulate my mother-in-law,
Margit, with her birthday on Monday, January 28th. We celebrated
your birthday on the most beautiful beach in the world. We love you!!! Hugs and
kisses from both of usJ

love it.

After three months sleeping in our car we got a motel-room in Esperance (we stayed one night before we went to Cape Le Grand National Park). It was a big contrast to staying in a national park, where we paid $18 per night (2 people) paying $139 for one night in the motel.

The journey continues
The cherry work is soon done, and we're moving on.... There will be one day or so left of work (but we don't know when that is yet) so when the pay check is ready we'll be heading west toward Perth and the west coast of Australia. There's no more work here at the moment, and we now feel that the time is right to get back on the road. Some of the other people we've been working with left the other day, and I really felt an urge to travel and experience new things and new places. Pete's Fish Farm has been truly amazing, and the people we've met will always be in our hearts, but never the less, the time has come to move on. We haven't made that much money, but we now feel at ease with continuing our journey with what we have, and we know that the Universe will provide us with all we need (money, people and circumstances). Life is good :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Happy new year everybody!!! We wish you all an amazing year :)
Life is still good, and we're enjoying this beautiful country down under. On new years eve we went to Beachport to see the fireworks, but after driving for a long time to get there (some of our friends had been drinking a lot so we had to stop every five minutes) we were told that there wouldn't be any fireworks. We had a nice time with friends, so the fireworks didn't really matter that much for us:)
We have been working at the cherry farm for a couple of weeks and two days ago we got our first pay check. We didn't keep track of how much we had earned, so we got a great surprise when we got the check and saw that we had earned a nice amount of money. The last few days have been really warm, somebody told me that it was 47 degrees the day before yesterday, so that makes it impossible to work, and it also makes the cherry trees draw all the water from the fruits to survive and the cherries get ruined. The hottest days we worked from 6am to about 11am and then all we could do was to go home and cool off in a pond that Pete and Kay have made for backpackers to swim in. One of the days we went to Robe to go to the beach as well. It was so warm in the car on the way there that JT almost fell asleep while we was driving. It was absolutely exhausting! But the 1 hour drive to get there was worth it! We went to a beach called Long Beach, and it was so cool!!! We could drive our car down on the beach and park on the beach close to the water. The beach was so long that we could have a big part of the beach for ourselves if we hadn't been to tiered to drive any further. Anyway, it was the most perfect beach I have ever been to :) The water was nice and turquoise-green and the beach was beautiful!!
Today we have the day off so we're heading to Port McDonnell to check out a food and music festival that's suppose to be on the beach there today. Now we're at the library in Mount Gambier to update the blog before heading for the beach.
Our beautiful niece Benedicte had her first birthday January 1st! Happy birthday, angel!!! We wish you all the best in the world :) We love you!!!
Life is good in this moment, and in this moment, and in this moment....
